Jonnie Whittington

Jonnie Kidd Whittington born at Six Mile Creek in Tampa, Florida is the youngest daughter of Yates and Dollie Kidd from her new and first novel-Kidd and Spitfire Doll.

She is married for 56 years to retired minister Malcolm Whittington. These years of ministry gives her insight into human nature and compassion for misdirected lives. With a passion to help she traveled two hours every Tuesday for six years to teach women in the county jail in Orlando, and taught Bible classes in her husband's churches.

A mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to one, Jonnie teaches piano at Lighthouse Christian Center and Academy where her youngest son John is pastor. She writes and teaches Bible studies for local churches, is a song-writer and comedienne-entertainer for women's luncheons and meetings.

Jonnie heard bits and pieces from her mother and father about the life they lived in the roaring twenties and early thirties. The week before his death her father Yates Kidd revealed details about his secret organization. Intrigue took over and Jonnie wrote for others to visit their adventures and exciting tales.
