John Kennedy

John Kennedy was born in Omagh, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland in 1965. He grew up in Strabane and moved to Belfast in 1986 to attend Art College, graduating in 1990 with a BA Honours Degree in Art and Design. Since then he has gained the reputation of a highly skilled cartoonist and has been published in various magazines and newspapers throughout Ireland and the United States. His slightly controversial new book 'Warts and All - Ten years of the Good Friday Agreement' has received rave reviews from the Irish media who have compared him to a modern day William Hogarth. No Northern Ireland Politican escapes his methodical, almost surgical eye. Kennedy is neither neutral nor ambiguous and his intolerance of social injustice and political buffoonery is clearly highlighted within this excellent paperback. His next book on the Northern Ireland peace process is currently in production and if this book is anything to go by, 'Warts and All 2' will be a compelling wait.
