Les Livingstone

LES LIVINGSTONE is the MBA Program Director in Economics, Finance and Accounting at the University of Maryland University College, a leading internet university with 95,000 students, including 2,600 MBA students. He earned MBA and Ph.D. degrees at Stanford University and is a CPA (licensed in NY and TX).

Since 1991 he has directed his own consulting firm, specializing in Damage Estimation for large-scale Commercial Litigation and in Business Valuation. He has served as a Consulting or Testifying Expert in many cases, and has testified in Federal and State courts in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, and Texas. He has also testified before Federal government agencies including the FTC, FERC, as well as the Public Utilities Commission of Texas.

His previous experience in accounting, finance and business includes the following:

* Babson College: Professor of Accounting and Chairman, Division of Accounting & Law.

* The MAC Group (now Cap Gemini/Ernst & Young Consulting), an international management consulting firm specializing in design and implementation of business strategy for major corporations: Principal.

* Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), Partner.

* Georgia Institute of Technology: Fuller E. Callaway Professor of Accounting.

* Ohio State University: Arthur Young Distinguished Professor of Accounting.

* About 50 articles in leading professional journals.

* Numerous chapters in authoritative handbooks.

* 22 books.

* Recent books include: Seen and Unseen (2012), Collectivism Versus Individualism (2012), Who is in Charge?
