Alex Montwill

Alex Montwill:

Taught physics for more than 40 years at University College Dublin, and as visiting professor at City College New York and University of Minnesota. Presented some 150 Science snippets on RTE1 (Irish Radio). Somebody must have been listening because they continued over a 10-year period. With Ann Breslin co-authored 'Let there be Light - the story of light from atoms to galaxies' published in September 2008 by Imperial College Press. Alex's hobies are bridge and chess,in both of which he has represented Ireland in international competition.
