Ralph F. Halse

Ralph Halse has authored several gripping series featuring dystopian worlds. He authored three dark yet inspirational short stories themed on death. He has written four action-based movie scripts that have earned him acclaim on the FilmFreeway network, as well as a stage play. He holds a BA in Environmental Planning from USC, a Dual Diploma in Sustainability, and a Diploma in Local Government Planning.

His recent dystopian Zombie-inspired series - And Tomorrow - hypothesises survival post-pandemic. His previous novels, Scavenger Lord & Artefact War - set in a future dystopian Australia - were reviewed by Author Mike H. McCloskey, who said: “Halse’s Rhyka books are gritty, gory, with a lot of action, which is just how I like my adventure books. Yet they also have a lot of intrigue and nasty plotting: priests and soldiers alike fight to control what’s left of the world. To sum it up, just the right mix of action and intrigue.”

Halse resides quietly in Queensland, Australia, with his wife, two grandsons, and Daisy, a not-so-energetic Jack Russell. When he’s not tapping away at a keyboard, he can be found gardening (reluctantly), in his workshop ruining perfectly good wood or fishing.
