I find it funny when I read the author bio on the back of books. It's generally written by the author, usually contains his or her name, several letters behind that name, and a description of how qualified they are to be writing a book. For example:

Greg Gregenblat, PHD; MSG; PPG, was born in 1954 in war torn Southern Blattensburg where his mother and father scrapped together enough Blattenfranks to put him on a train across the ocean to America. In America, as an orphan, he worked long hours as a envelope licker saving every penny he earned to buy a pair of shoes so that he could walk to the university in the snow to study astrophysics and ball room dancing. Today Greg is a successful medical doctor, a champion dog sled racer and a noted activist with 38+ years experience in solving very very difficult matters. His wife (a noted philanthropist) and son Greg Jr. are wonderful inspirations to all who meet them. Greg has authored 62 books but the one you are about to read is said to be his best (we know this because many very famous people have told him that you are lucky that he wrote it for you to read)...

Me on the other hand, I'm just a working man from Minnesota whose goal in writing is to help people learn from my stupid mistakes so that they might avoid making the same mistakes. I live now in Florida where I am happily married to Katherine and have an incredible son named James Jr. I'm probably not the guy who you think would write a book, but I did. If you decide to take time to read it-- I hope it will help you.
