L. Lee Shaw

L. Lee Shaw has published two previous novels, Blood Will Tell… and Monster Child. October 2017, her third novel, Aging Out, debuted. Love Imperfect, a story of the struggle to make love work, is scheduled for release February 2018. A children’s chapter book, Flunking Magic, featuring a little witch who is very bad at spells is also set for release in 2018.

Shaw is a writing activist who strongly supports anyone who dreams of seeing their words in print. To this end, she has taught fiction writing, formed a long running writers' group, and coordinated various writing events. She edits Analekta, a journal of writing. She enjoys working closely with other writers to help bring their work into the world.

When taking a break from words, she hangs out on her farm with husband and animals. "Living country keeps you anchored in the real world. It doesn't matter if the work is flowing or the idea you've waited for days finally glimmers through, when it's chore time, you better have a grain bucket in your hands. The only word they're interested in is 'chow'."
