Tom A Maus

Tom A. Maus was born in 1960 in Anchorage, Alaska. Growing up in church, he has invested over thirty years of his life in local church leadership serving as Youth Pastor, Worship Leader, Elder and eventually Associate Pastor. In 1992 he moved his family to help establish a new church plant in Washington, known as "theChurch at Cedar Springs." "God's Messenger" is Tom's first literary endeavor and reflects his own unique passion for spiritual gift expression in and through the church. He has been a very strong proponent for prophecy and is well respected for his wisdom and strong prophetic voice. The motivation behind this unique and poignant book is to give practical instruction in the prophetic gifts so that local churches can be built up and better equipped for their mission. More recently, "Empowered for Mission" has been published as Tom's effort to clarify misunderstandings about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and its current relevancy. Tom resides with his lovely wife, Tamara, in Graham, Washington.
