J. Paul Lennon

(John) Paul Lennon, was born in Dublin during World War II -Ireland remained neutral- to working-class Catholic parents, and educated (?) by the Irish Christian Brothers. He joined the Legion of Christ Order at age 17 and spent 23 years with the Legion in Spain, Rome, and Mexico, finally leaving after an acrimonious encounter with the then considered saintly founder, Fr. Marcial Maciel. He lived 30 years in the USA where he carved out his second calling as a Child & Family Therapist. Presently retired he lives in La Antigua, Guatemala, Central America with his wife. He described his childhood, youth and adulthood in "Our Father (Maciel), who art in bed, a Naive and Sentimental Dubliner in the Legion of Christ" (Amazon, 2008), updated ( September, 2019) as "Deceit & Lies in the Legion of Christ, Regnum Christi, Federation", an abbreviated, revised version with table and index. Paul and the organization he helped found, REGAIN, INC, have a cult-watch web page: www.regainnetwork.org. He published a booklet of prayers in Spanish, "Un Cura lucha con Dios" (A Priest Wrestles with God) and a booklet of Lenten Meditations in Spanish called "Viaje hacia la Pascua" (A Journey toward Easter). In 2012 he published "Fr. Marcial Maciel, Pedophile, Pyschopath and Legion of Christ Founder." He continues editing priests' love diaries in the Series "A Legion of Christ Missionary in Mexico", penned by Fr. Abelard . Paul co-wrote a Spanish language police novel, "El Fanatico del Regnum Christi". He is planning to publish poems, prayers, and articles -maybe even another book- in the near future.
