Jim Harrison

Jim Harrison is a scientist and attorney who lives in Evans, Georgia. He has been married to his wife, Beverly, for more than fifty years. Together they have two wonderful sons, two amazing daughters-in-law, and four grandchildren who are the loves of their lives.

Jim has academic degrees from Montclair State University, the University of Nebraska at Omaha, American University, and the American University Washington College of Law. He has also studied at California State University at Chico and Texas A&M University.

Jim’s work experience includes serving as a weather officer in the United States Air Force and as mathematician, physical scientist, meteorologist and supervisory meteorologist in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). His last position before retirement was Deputy Federal Coordinator for Meteorological Services and Supporting Research in Silver Spring, Maryland, a responsibility that coordinated operational weather and research activities among fourteen federal agencies.

Since retirement, Jim has attempted to make contributions in the pro-life area concerning unborn children.
