Perhaps the greatest expertise a writer can bring to her craft is a set of diverse experiences, both personally and professionally. Although many would label her career pattern as scattered, Rebbie prefers to view it as the realistic texture that enriches her stories. She's been a high school teacher, guidance counselor, office supply salesperson, waitress, violinist, swimming coach, SCUBA diver and the operator of a sludge-sucking vacuum truck. Her first book, CAST THE FIRST STONE, is a historical mystery set in her beloved rural America. Her second book, A CORNER OF UNIVERSE, is a suspense story set in current day Chicago. She is a member of Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime and Backspace.org.
