L.J. Salazar

Luis J. Salazar is a writer and entrepreneur living in the Pacific Northwest.

Influenced by Garcia Marques, Borges, Cortazar, and other Latin-American writers, L.J. began writing children's fantasy books using the context of magic realism. His children's books address issues such as growing up, insecurity and self-doubt, the innate need for confidence, and the importance of good relationships with those we love the most - human or animal.

His first children's book in English: Chin and the Magic Stones, takes on the themes of self-realization, resourcefulness, and confidence for children in a fantastic, exciting, and creative story that keeps middle graders engaged from beginning to end.
