Dennis Fleming's interest in writing grew out of filmmaking, writing and directing his short films, and screenwriting.
He revised his true crime memoir; SHE HAD NO ENEMIES, broadening its scope. The murder described in this book was the subject of an investigative report on the IDTV program, On the Case With Paula Zahn. The episode titled Window to a Murder includes an interview with Fleming.
The new edition titled THE GIRL WHO HAD NO ENEMIES (and the MaN WhO HaTeD WoMeN) includes the serial killer's mental history and psychopathology. Fleming's work in progress is a novel based on characters from his true crime memoirs. Under the Pen name Andy Ashling, Fleming wrote ten episodes in a series of short memoirs titled The Sex Life of Andy Ashling and is working on a roman a clef titled SEARCHING FOR ME.
Fleming left a career as vice president of a pharmaceutical testing laboratory. He wrote articles for industry journals in the U.S. and U.K., and sat on the editorial review board for the journal Contract Pharma.
