Phil Robinson

Following many years of successful pioneering work in manufacturing management, Phil Robinson joined MRP Ltd. in 1994 to teach "Business Excellence", which includes ERP (enterprise resource planning), MRPII (manufacturing resource planning), JIT (just in time), Lean Manufacturing, and TQ (total quality), on their public education courses and started his own consultancy BPIC.

His book "Business Excellence" has become a standard text in the industry and his web site at www.bpic.co.uk is well established as a leading reference source for manufacturing planning and control material in the UK.

Phil's style is to keep it simple and understandable.

Following the success of the paperback, Phil updated and then converted the most popular chapters of the book into short, practical stand-alone e-books which are available on the convenient Kindle format.

Outside work Phil applied his practical and analytical approach to both cooking, using his sister's book on Yorkshire Puddings as a basis, and gardening.
