My love of reading and writing began when I was in elementary school. The collection of short stories that I wrote in the fifth grade was about twenty sheets of notebook paper stapled together. I composed a detailed description of each boy I had ever had a crush on and the dreams or daydreams that I had about them. This was during my "sneaking to read my mom's erotica" phase, so you can imagine the things I wrote.

I began writing poetry in the seventh grade after my English teacher had introduced the class to the writings of Edgar Allen Poe. That was the first time I wrote down my feelings about my mom and our family issues.

In 2004-2006, I went back to school and received an Information Technology degree, but my desire to write resurfaced.

In 2007, I began to pull out the old poetry, short stories, and novel chapters to do some re-writes. "See What I See" is the first of several poetry collections I have in mind. I'm also working on some mainstream women's fiction novels as well as a female bounty hunter/private detective series.
