David Allen Hodges (1958-?)

My name is David Hodges and I was born in a small rural community and committed my life to Christ as a small child. My interest in writing developed at an early age as I began my first book at the age of nine years old but as most children are prone to be my attention span was not the most extensive and the project was discontinued before completion.

My family soon departed company with my original depiction of constant residence and transitioned from my home town of Holtville, Ca. to Murrieta, Ca. as my beloved father passed away from cancer.

I remained with my mother and younger brother from the age of fifteen to the age of eighteen and attended Elsinore High School. I also was employed full time as I possessed enough credits to graduate from High School my Junior year and was offered the opportunity to attend school half a day and be employed full time and receive further credit.

I eventually relocated to Pasadena, Ca. and enrolled in college at Pasadena City College and remained employed full time as a manager and eventually was recruited for employment by GTE of California and through much extensive effort and study I graduated from college Summa Cum Laude.

Three years after my employment began with GTE I met a beautiful young lady who eventually became my wife and mother of my three precious children, Justin, Nicole, and Brandon.

During the course of my marriage I developed stories that included depictions of my children as heroes and heroines participating within adventure of mystery and intrigue and righteous encounters with the creator of the universe and rescuing kingdoms and their citizenry from unscrupulous characters and their unrighteous intentions.

These stories were originally developed to establish and develop self esteem and confidence within the mind set of my children and further develop healthy psychological and emotional interactions with each other and family members and to teach respect for life itself and those in authority and develop a definitive consciousness of the reality of the existence of the creator and his saving grace and power.

Eventually, as time would dictate, my initial reclamation of intent to create and generate reading materials of significant interest within a book format resurfaced and my immediate consideration was to develop the stories that I had created for my children into books for the sole reasons of honoring my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and my precious and beloved children and in the process not only entertain the Christian and secular gendre but to depict the path of the reality of the necessity of salvation to the secular audiences and the consequences of the rejection of Christ and his saving grace.

Therefore from that point forward I began to develop my first book Ozgod and have continued writing to the point that there are now five books in totality, Ozgod, Misty, The Clones of Landis, The Flight of the Nightingale, and the Lords of Goth. The third book The Clones of Landis should be published and presented to the public on the open market soon.
