My first book - 'Sick Mick's Guide' - has resurfaced via third party sellers. I wrote it in 2006 when I was still very sick with Lyme disease. I spent far too much time talking about my experience with the illness. It did lead some desperate people to a correct diagnosis, but it needed to focus on selling and buying! That's why I wrote the second book.

BIO

Micki's passion for unusual old things began with childhood digs in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. As an adult, she became a Detroit-area marketing writer with antiques on the side. She rented space in antique malls before opening her own shop; then crushing mystery illness forced her to learn to sell online.

In 2006 - fresh off IV antibiotics for Lyme disease - eBay invited her out to join their Voices of the Community focus group. She returned anxious to share what she had learned with chronically ill friends. Her first book, "Sick Mick's Guide to Selling Antiques & Collectibles" focused on eBay Stores; but her methods have changed with the times.

"How to Sell Vintage & Gold Jewelry Online" seeks to prevent people from sacrificing valuables to the gold buyers. Since success can lead to obsession, she explains how to buy online to sell online.

Today her health is much improved in the warm, healing breezes of southwest Florida. Freelance writing projects and online sales keep her on stilts near Sanibel.
