Renee Morgan-Hampton

Renee Morgan-Hampton was born in Pasadena, California, grew up in Pasadena as a fourth generation native. Her heritage derives from Welsh, Indian and American descendants. For over 20 years, she has worked in the legal arena as a Paralegal and has a B.A. in Communications. Her first novel, "Misrepresented", a hard boiled fiction murder mystery was published in 2006. She has served on many boards related to the Communications field. She has served on several local Commissions and Task Force Committees for the City of Pasadena and is a community activist for trees, landscape designs, housing, historical landmark districts, and the Arts.

Well Harianne DeCanter, who was the infamous criminal defense attorney in "Misrepresented", has returned in "Guilty By Default" to represent a student that attends Calvin House Preparatory School in La Canada Fliintridge, California. She's back with her favorite detective team as they go through this tangled web of murders and disappearances. The plot is twisted and takes you on a suspenseful ride! The ending will shock you and leave you absolutely speechless.
