Carol Riley Cain

Greetings, Readers!

My name is Carol Riley Cain, and I am a native Texan. I was born, live, and work in the area of South Texas about halfway between San Antonio and Corpus Christi.

I have three grown children and 5 grandchildren and am a teacher. I teach English III and IV with two classes of 6th-graders thrown in just to keep me on my toes!

My favorite genre is fantasy, such as J.R.R. Tolkien's Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, the Twilight Series, The Hunger Games Trilogy, and the Harry Potter books.

My main interest is the paranormal, and I have two books published at present: "Ghosts Spooks, and Spirits of South Texas" and "Spooky Stories from the Lone Start State" which are both books of ghost stories based on experiences with the paranormal shared with me by others as well as my own experiences as a paranormal investigator.

Keep your eyes peeled for "The Perfect House," my first novel, which should be released some time in 2013.
