Kristen Bowers

Kristen Bowers is a mom, entrepreneur, Transformational Trainer, author, coach, and speaker who has helped people transform their lives with her straight-forward approach, relatable and authentic connection, and refreshingly frank candor. Based on her own transformation, revealing her years of depression, a divorce, and business failure, Bust Your Asphalt empowers and guides readers to break through personal blocks in order to live authentically and powerfully.

She is also the founder and President of educational publishing company Simply Novel and has also written and published over 20 teaching guides and reference books, including two essay writing guides: Essay Apprentice and Essay Architect, and her SmartFlip ELA Common Core Resource Guides for grades 3-12, helping ELA teachers break-down and tackle the complexities of the Common Core.
