Larry Jameson

Larry Jameson was born in Prescott, Arkansas, USA, a small town of about 3,500. He met Beth in high school and the two were later married in 1970. Then, in 1990, during a routine surgery, things went horribly wrong for Beth, so much so that Larry was told she probably would not survive as her organs began shutting down due to Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome.

Her fighting spirit insured her survival, but the long period of time without oxygen resulted in an anoxic brain injury, and the couple's lives were changed forever. The lack of information about life after brain injury resulted in many years of trial and error.

That same lack of information led Larry and Beth to write Brain Injury Survivor's Guide, a how-to book for both those who are injured and their family members.
