Ken Lewis lives with his wife JaNell and their two dogs, Chewie, and Lindie, in the small town of Rogue River, Oregon where he was the chief of police for fifteen years. His first novel, Little Blue Whales, was the Public Safety Writers Association 2010 Grand Prize Winner for Fiction. In 2012, his second crime novel, The Sparrow's Blade, won an Eric Hoffer award for commercial fiction. Born in Idaho, Ken has been an avid outdoorsman all of his life. When he's not writing, he can most often be found trekking the mountains, foothills, and high desert country of the Pacific Northwest with a rifle, bow, or fly rod in his hands.
