Mary grew up on the Darling Downs in Queensland and went to school and trained as a registered nurse in Toowoomba. For over more than 50 years, she has enjoyed being a minister's wife in Australia, England and on three short term mission trips to Africa in Kenya, Zambia and Ghana. Mother and grandmother, she lives with her semi-retired husband Ray, also a published author, in Tasmania, Australia

Her first novel was published in 1993 by Barbour Publishing in America. She had five Harlequin Mills and Boon medical novels published until she had to decide which publisher to continue writing for. Her heart dictated she continue writing her first love - inspirational romance novels for Barbour. Since then, with 19 titles released she now has well over 820,000 books sold. AUSTRALIA, her first 4-in-1 Barbour anthology of her contemporary Heartsong inspirational romances was a CBA best seller. Her AUSTRALIAN OUTBACK, containing four historical Heartsongs, was released in 2003. Three single title inspirational romance novels were published by Ark House Press in Australia. RETURN TO BARAGULA was shortlisted in the Australian CALEB award. Book Two, OUTBACK FROM BARAGULA, was released in 2009 and Book Three, JUSTICE AT BARAGULA was also a finalist in the Omega CALEB award. All four of her GREAT SOUTHLAND historical book series and three SEARCH contemporary book series have been released again by Truly Yours Digital Editions as e-books on Amazon and elswhere. She is currently working on another single title, Her Outback Cowboy, and Delayed Dreams, a spin-off story from her DAMAGED DREAMS which is also now available again as an e-book. Mary enjoys sharing with other writers and is a member of several writing groups like Romance Writers of Australia, Society Women Writers Tasmania, Omega Writers and American Christian Fiction Writers. When she has time from family, speaking appointments and writing, she shares on blogs sites, Facebook and Goodreads.
