Susan Schott Karr

Susan Schott Karr (1954-) was born in Summit, N.J. and lives in Napa, CA. She teaches a series of editing classes in UC Berkeley's Certificate in Editing program. Recently, she did technical writing and website development for Google. Susan has worked as a writer, editor and communications consultant through her business, WordSuite. She has published over 45 journalistic articles on business and finance and has guided over 40 Fortune 500 companies, as well as many startups. She is the author of eleven nonfiction and one fiction children's books. Susan holds a B.A. in education/English from the College of William and Mary, an M.B.A. in general management/finance from Golden Gate University, a Certificate in Web Design from the University of California, Davis, and a Certificate in Novel Writing from Stanford University. Concurrently, she is looking for a home for her first literary novel.
