Jennifer Wenzel

Jennifer Wenzel writes and teaches about environmental and energy humanities and postcolonial and African literatures at Columbia University in the City of New York. Previously she has studied and taught at universities in Texas, Montana, Massachusetts, and Michigan. She's a member of the Petrocultures Research Group and the After Oil Collective. Her recent books and essays seek to understand the dominant narratives and images through which we come to understand our relationship to non-human nature.
