Dr. Daniel Asher

BGn (Res) Dr. Dani (Daniel) Asher is a Military Historian and Researcher who acts as a lecturer in Academia and as a Researcher in the Israeli defense system. As an Intelligence Officer with years of experience in field and research, he specializes in the Arab militaries’ operations and in the Arab-Israeli wars. Among his publications: “Breaking the Concept”, which was published also in the US as “The Egyptian Strategy for the Yom Kippur War , “Operating Armor Forces in Mountainous Country – the Syrian Military Intervention in Lebanon”, The “Yom Kippur War Lexicon” as a Deputy-Editor, and “The Syrians at the Borders” as an Editor in Chief. His work and research saw light in many publications and articles – many translated to English.
