Joseph L. Cacibauda is a retired teacher living in Reno, Nevada with his wife Sue, a nurse and a healing practitioner. Joe has lived in the Reno-Lake Tahoe area for 40 years first coming into town as a traveling musician with the Holiday on Ice National touring show. He worked in the Reno area as a professional musician for 15 years finishing his playing career as the bassist in the Hello Hollywood Hello show at the then MGM Grand. He then taught elementary school for 23 years in Sparks, Nevada. Joe's books include AFTER LAUGHING COMES CRYING an historical fiction book about the Sicilian immigrant experience coming to America and working on the sugarcane plantations in Louisiana. It is published by Legas Publishing in New York; EINSTEIN'S FORMULA, a novel that weaves the ramifications of Einstein's General Field Theory into a dramatic narrative that has a number of plot twists and surprises. It is newly published by Black Rose Writing in Texas; BASS SOLOS is a self published book found on Amazon and Lulu.com that is based on Joe's first tour as a traveling Dixieland musician through Texas in the mid-sixties. Joe has 2 other books that he hopes to get published in the near future and is currently working on another book he is calling "SHEDS". Joe has two sons, Christian and Anthony who share his love of music and writing, both good musicians and writers.
