Rebecca Jamison, born in Fort Worth, Texas, has enjoyed many hours riding behind her husband on their Harley-Davidson Electra Glide, "Clyde"; the three of them literally melded together as one: her husband, Jim, Clyde himself, and Rebecca. Relaxing and enjoying the scenery, it occurred to her that sharing their adventures as seen through Clyde's eyes and heart would be a fun and imaginative way for children to experience life's journey.
The stories came easily: what Clyde feels as he anxiously awaits daylight and the next ride in "Clyde the Glyde on the Great Ride" and Clyde's deep concern for a carnival ride of eight motorcycles who have the ability to travel only in circles rather than enjoying straight endless roads as in "Clyde the Glyde and the Carnival Ride".
Rebecca and Jim live in Keller, Texas where she continues to write and publish Clyde adventures. Watch for upcoming stories, which include, in response to popular demand, a new female motorcycle character named Pearl in "Pearl the Motorcycle Girl, Take a Chance and Dance" to be released Fall 2009.
