Heather Lauer

Heather Lauer created her blog BaconUnwrapped.com in 2005 after a spirited discussion with her brothers about the virtues of the best meat ever, bacon. Her bacon adventures quickly caught the attention of a devoted following she calls the Bacon Nation. The popularity of her blog led to her first book, Bacon: A Love Story, published by William Morrow in May 2009. Heather is the owner of Villageous LLC (www.villageous.com), an agency that specializes in strategic communications and public affairs campaign management. She lives in Phoenix, Arizona and Fairfield, Idaho.
