Patrick Laughy

Prior to retirement, Patrick Laughy served in the Royal Canadian Navy as a radioman and in the Vancouver Police Force as Sergeant in the Dog Squad before opening a private security business. In his early years he published seventy adult fiction novels and while in the police force co-authored a book on dog training.

After he retired, Pat returned to his passion for writing and since 2012 has written two police procedural/murder mystery novels: 'The Little Black Book' and 'Alumni'; a trilogy, 'Atlantis-Ship of the Gods'; and a 7-book series entitled 'The 4th Reich', a series that follows a fictional family through the reality of WWll and beyond to present day. His latest work is "Kenny-the Making if a Serial Killer', a trilogy. Books 1 and 2 are available on Amazon and Book 3 is in the works.

Pat has a great love of the outdoors, reading- especially fantasy, crime, and historical (both fiction and non-fiction), the video game 'Rome' and politics. He loves old cars and is presently rebuilding a Corvair nicknamed 'Bondo Baby'. He lives in Chilliwack, British Columbia with Suzy, and 'Princess', the cat.
