Michael Mayo

Michael Mayo started writing at 18 and sold his first piece, a review of “The Devils,” when he was nineteen. As a journalist, he covered consumer technology and motion pictures for “Cinefantastique” magazine, interviewing such filmmakers as James Cameron, David Lynch, Tim Burton, Ron Howard, Chuck Russell, William Malone, and others. As a lifelong lover of nature and animals, he has turned his writing talents to writing a series chronicling the story of a young boy who discovers he can communicate with animals in “The Adventures of Alex Walker.”
