Jim is an Enterprise Software Architect specializing in distributed systems and sensor network architectures.
He has spent the last 13 years focused on Enterprise and Mobile Java technologies, and more recently JavaFX, being one of the first to develop with JavaFX. Jim was a member of the original JavaFX compiler team.
He has written many white papers and has presented numerous times at JavaONE on various topics, including Enterprise Jave performance, RFID, Jini and Sensor networks, and Java Realtime performance in trading systems.
Jim started his career with AT&T using Unix and C while working on a project with Bell Labs. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.
