Adrian Heathfield

Adrian Heathfield is a writer and curator working across the scenes of live art, performance and dance. His essays and books have examined the cultural value of performance, foregrounding an ethics of encounter between the spectator and the artwork. He is the author of Out of Now the monograph of the artist Tehching Hsieh and he was co-curator of the Live Culture events at Tate Modern in London 2003. He is Professor of Performance and Visual Culture at Roehampton University, London.
