Ingrid Abramovitch

Ingrid Abramovitch is a journalist who writes and lectures about design and architecture. A former magazine editor at House & Garden and Martha Stewart Living, she has a website and a blog, House Proud, which can be visited at IngridAbramovitch.com. The idea for her book Restoring a House in the City was inspired by Ingrid's move to Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, a neighborhood filled with brownstones and their owners, who while house-proud were in constant search of information and inspiration on maintaining their antique homes.
