Ercan Akbay

Notable with suspense novels delving into the psychology behind crime, the author was born in Istanbul in 1959. The same day he graduated from high school and enrolled Istanbul University's School of Business Administration, he also entered into his professional career.

Involved in sectors such as tourism and electronics prior to managing a jazz club in Istanbul, he appeared in various projects related to music, art products and design.

In 1996, he wrote his first novel 'Tales of the Weird' followed by 'Men Don't Cry' the year after. His criminal TV script project also came onto the market as a novel named 'What Time Is It, Mr Wolf?' published in 2007, followed by 'Against Windmills' in 2010, 'Scent of Skin' in 2012 and 'The Photographers Club' in 2015.

He lives in Istanbul with his wife, who is a psychologist, and together they have one daughter, who is also a writer.
