Barnaba M. Zingani

Barnaba M. Zingani was born on 3rd March 1958, in Nkhotakota District, Malawi Central Africa to a primary school teacher who later became an Anglican Voluntary priest. For twelve years he taught Electrical Installation at Ministry of Works Training Centre in Zomba District. He has published five books in vernacular (Chichewa). Out of the five, two are for children. He contributed several vernacular falktales to a Catholic Magazine called 'Moni'. He studied Electrical Installation at Lilongwe Technical college, Electrical Foremanship at Mininstry of Works Training Centre, Renewable energies at Mzuzu University, Supervision, Management and Repair of Hospital Equipment at Mombasa Polytechnic, Kenya and Journalism by Distance learning. He has been an Electrical Installation external examiner for Ministry of Labour for over twenty years. He is married to a beautiful wife, Agatha. He has four children:Three beautiful daughters: Lisungu, Akuzike, Mayamiko and a handsome son, Barnaba Jnr.
