Jonathan O’Brien is the CEO of Positive Purchasing Ltd (strategic procurement training and SaaS platforms). Jonathan has over 33 years experience working in Procurement and negotiation and an extensive track record helping organisations achieve excellence through Category Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Negotiation, and Sustainable Procurement. He is the host of the hugely popular The Procurement Show Podcast.

Jonathan is an electronics engineer who ended up in Procurement and has worked across multiple industries.

Jonathan and his team at Positive Purchasing Ltd have developed the tools that power today's big companies including 5i® Category Management, the Orchestra of SRM®, Red Sheet® negotiation and OMEIA® Sustainable Procurement.

Jonathan holds an MBA from Plymouth University Business School and is an award winning author. He is also an accomplished broadcaster and artist and lives with his family in Plymouth, UK.
