Dr. John Gresham is a retired seminary professor who continues to teach part-time.
Gresham received his BA and MA in biblical and theological studies from Wheaton College and his PhD in Religion from Baylor University. He also has a Masters in Information Science from University of North Texas and in his academic career has worked both as a librarian and a professor at such places as Baylor University, Sterling College, Franciscan University of Steubenville, Fontbonne University, Kenrick-Glennon Seminary (where he also served as Academic Dean) and Sacred Heart Major Seminary (where he also served as Director of Distance Education and Online Learning).
Dr. Gresham is a certified Spiritual Director and often teaches in a summer spirituality program for seminarians run by the Institute for Priestly Formation in Omaha, NE.
Dr. Gresham traveled a spiritual pilgrimage from evangelical and Pentecostal roots through the Episcopal Church, finally finding his way home to the Catholic Church in 1996. In 2008, he shared his story on the Journey Home program on EWTN. Dr. Gresham has been married 40+ years and has 5 children and 4 grandchildren.
