Somewhere between the dust of the Texas border and the neon haze of late-night despair sits the work of Thom Young. A chronicler of the damaged and the disaffected, Thom writes stories that don’t just ask questions—they leave scars. Known for his jagged, cynical prose, he navigates genres from gritty noir to extreme horror with a singular focus on the "Texas Noir" aesthetic. His work has been in PBS Newshour, The Wall Street Journal, The Oxford Review, and over a hundred literary journals. A 2008 Million Writers Award and 2016 Pushcart Prize nominee.
