Karl Beiser

A Maine Native, Karl's first book was 25 Ski Tours in Maine, published in 1979. As a result of several years of snow drought, and employment with the Maine State Library, subsequent writing focused on library technology. Besides the books, Karl authored several issues of ALA's Library Technology Reports and more than 100 columns and articles in the library professional literature. Karl is now retired and lives in Northport, Maine. He does a variety of technology services under the BeiserWorks name.
