Maria B. Murad

Maria B. Murad has published a children's book, short stories, essays (both print and online)and memoirs in several anthologies. Her first novel,"Lighting Out," is on Kindle; her newest novel -- a light-hearted mystery -- is now up on Kindle ebooks (Suzy the Default Detective). Her sequel to that book is also available on Amazon: Suzy the Super Sleuth.She is currently working on a third Suzy book. She also published a nonfiction book for women who are new to managing, "Leading Ladies: How to Manage Like a Star," which is available on Amazon.com and in Kindle format.

Maria has an M.A. in English, Emphasis on Writing Program, from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus. In addition to her own writing, she has taught classes in Composition, Creative Writing, Detective Fiction, Speech and Technical Communication at local colleges. Travel is a passion:she's been across the pond seven times and has visited Ireland for the second time,looking for--and finding--thin places and fairies.
