Paul Gosling

Paul Gosling is a professional writer, author of several books and formerly contributed the 'Questions of Cash' column for The Independent newspaper. His latest book is 'A New Ireland - A Five Year Review', which considers the ongoing crisis of government in Northern Ireland and how this affects prospects for Irish unity. This is an entirely new publication, which follows two previous books in the serious. He also edited the book 'Lessons from the Troubles and the Unsettled Peace', based on a collection of podcast interviews with leading figures in Northern Ireland.

Paul is a well known broadcaster and public speaker, with a history of active political engagement. He is a former policy and parliamentary advisor to Sinéad McLaughlin, the SDLP's economy spokesperson and Foyle MLA, and has been a Labour and Co-operative Party councillor in Leicester. Paul is a specialist in the co-operative economy as a former advisor to workers' co-operatives.
