James Whitlark

Having been for 35 years a professor of fantasies and scriptures, I’ve devoted many decades to studying the relationship of literature and life to the Unconscious (the part of the mind not at present conscious, e.g., for non-yogins, heartbeat, hormone secretion, digestion, memory storage, and subliminal perception). Back in 1975, I learned the Ki-Aikido energy-healing system (and until a few years ago ran a dojo as a Tomiki Aikido black-belt). Thanks to my wife Lynn, I became an N.L.P. Master Practitioner and Trainer in the U. S. and Great Britain. At present, I’m professionally old, writing fiction on the Oregon Coast in view of ocean, forest, and mountain, yet within a block of a library.
