Susan Hendler Lederer

Susan Hendler Lederer, PhD, CCC (Dr.Suzy) is a professor of speech-language pathology at Adelphi University,Garden City,NY. She is the author of three picture books ( I Can Say That, I Can Do That, I Can Play That) designed to encourage young children to learn to talk and read, a children's yoga music CD (StoryBook Yoga), and a ready-to-read curriculum guide (PreRead). These products have been field tested and are currently in use at the university's Speech and Hearing Center and Early Learning Center. In addition she has published research in peer-reviewed journals and presented nationally on early language, literacy, pretend play, and yoga development and disorders.
