I wrote my first book when I was in the fourth grade--on notebook paper with a pencil, stapled. Those who read it (my family) gave it rave reviews. Thus, my life as a writer began. I graduated to free-lance writer, playwright, and in the past eleven years, I have completed five novels--Mystery at Crescent Lake, With My Little Eye, Every Time We Kiss, Lawfully Yours, and, most recently, Heaven's Harmony.
When people ask me where I come up with ideas for my novels, I admit the story pops into my head without difficulty, but I slave over every word. As an editor-for-hire and a former English teacher, I am addicted to editing--my works most of all, and find difficulty in letting go. Finally, I do, of course.
