Robert Miskimon

Robert Miskimon's novels deal with love and loss, grief and recovery, artistic awakening and spirituality. He was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. Some of his influences include Thomas Wolfe, Somerset Maugham, Gore Vidal, Leo Tolstoy, Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Redd Foxx. During his career as a journalist Miskimon wrote for The Associated Press and the Daily News of the Virgin Island, He also has been editor of several weeklies, including The Carmel Pine Cone, and has written for many magazines. He is a proud grandfather and freelance writer who lives on Vashon Island, Washington.
