James M. Gaston

Frank’s Draftsman is James Gaston’s first historical fiction novel. After working on the concept for many years, he took advantage of the virus lockdown in 2020 to write the story of a young man coming of age in Frank Lloyd Wright’s studio in 1901 and building a new life for himself in Oak Park.

He has also written three mystery novels in the Asher Mystery Series featuring gay detective Kyle Decker. Bad Planning, Hard Lesson, and Fatal Note are available from Amazon in Kindle and print formats.
