Patricia H. Aust

Pat spent her life working in child welfare as a social worker. Sadly, she passed away from cancer before her last book "SHELTER" was published. "SHELTER" was inspired by her volunteer work as a children and teens’ counselor at Interval House, a battered women’s shelter.
