Ellen Rony

Ellen Rony is a writer, former domain name expert witness and prior emergency management coordinator for the Marin County Office of Education in California. She holds a Master of Arts degree from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Arts from Pomona College.

Her extensive writing portfolio includes three books, software reviews, award-winning newsletters, technical manuals, product brochures, federal grant applications, website development and a comprehensive Marin County school emergency management plan that has been showcased as a model for districts nationwide.

Ellen's debut children's picture book is DayZee Discovers her Purple Superpower. DayZee is a newborn zebra who is unlike any other in her herd. She receives a rough introduction to the animal kingdom and braves social isolation, roaring lions, a cranky crocodile and the lonely longing for acceptance into her community.

Ellen is also a Leadership Partner of the World Wildlife Fund.
