I was born in Bryn Athyn, a suburb of Philadelphia, PA, in1927. Early in life I took an interest in art, aided by a cast-off oil painting set I found as a teenager. I served fifty-one years as a Pastor in a church inspired by the works of Emanuel Swedenborg, living in Europe, Canada, and ending up in Tucson, AZ. After my retirement in 2003 I began painting wildflowers, later published nature books and now lead nature walks in Southern Arizona. Contreras Gallery in Tucson has had a show of my paintings several times.
